Irish Forum on Genetic Resources

The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food are holding a Genetic Resources Forum on Wednesday 19th November 2008 at the Heritage Hotel Portlaoise. The forum will bring together key stakeholders in plant and animal genetic resources conservation to network and discuss topics of mutual interest and concern, including the creation of a crop wild relative inventory and even possibly the development of a national strategy.
